My Story
Being recognised for the work you do is absolutely thrilling! Can you believe it? When I embarked on this venture several years ago, I never imagined that people would truly value what I create. It's incredible! Even though I initially didn't expect to be taken seriously, all I wanted was to share my journey and my developing passion for all things heritage.
My ultimate goal has always been to nurture a passion for British heritage, and now it's amazing to see it all coming together! Although originally intended as a personal blog, Explore Heritage has evolved into a digital platform for discovering some of Britain’s most intriguing architectural gems and hidden treasures and is now one of the UK’s most recognised brands!
Drone Safe
Much of the unique content I create is drone-based, and you can be sure I take my responsibilities seriously! As a responsible drone pilot, I am fully registered with the Civil Aviation Authority. To this end, I operate entirely within the confines of UK law and consciously plan all flights in line with privacy requirements. Having completed additional training and passed a further exam, I am qualified to fly commercially and operate within the A2 sub-category. This allows me to conduct higher-risk operations and within built-up areas. And, just in case the worst happens, I also hold commercial drone insurance in line with Europe’s most stringent requirements (EU Regulation EC785/2004).

At Explore Heritage, I provide more than just drone footage. In addition to creating short-form content for social media and longer-style videos for YouTube, I also write articles available on this website. While I usually offer these services at no cost, there are occasions when I welcome the chance to cover my expenses.
